Duane Luethje Obituary – At the age of 73, Duane Luethje, previously of Bertrand and now residing in Lincoln, passed away at Ambassador Health in Lincoln on November 3, 2022. On October 9, 1949, Duane Luethje was born in Seward to his parents, Wayne and Lucille (Pollock) Luethje. He wed Jayne Carlene Felker on the 29th of January in the year 1972. His wife, Jayne Luethje, of Lincoln, and his two daughters, Lindy Harig and Lori Romano, also of Lincoln, are among his survivors. He also leaves behind two sisters, Jolene Friesen of Henderson and Vinnetta Fahrenbruch of Bertrand, as well as four grandkids.
On Wednesday, November 9, at 11 a.m., there will be a memorial service held at the graveside with Mike Wicks serving as the officiant at the Highland Cemetery in Bertrand. After the funeral service, there will be a time of sharing and remembering at the Bertrand Community Building. There will be no visitation or book signing in memory of the deceased. Cremation was carried out in accordance with Duane’s family’s wishes. The preparations have been entrusted to the care of the Nelson-Bauer Funeral Home in Holdrege.
