Cor Maher Death, Obituary – After hearing the news that Cor Maher had passed away after a long battle with cancer, the players and members of Milltownpass GAA are in a state of mourning. Maher was a longtime member of the club. Cor, a man who resided down the bog Road in Milltownpass, was a very well-known figure in the area and an incredible GAA player. He passed away a few years ago. It was said that he perished in a car crash, although this was only a rumor.
Even though this was just a story, many people believed that he had been killed in a car accident. A tireless supporter of the Tipperary cause who will be mourned by the community as a direct result of the amount of time and effort they invested in supporting the Tipperary cause. The community will miss them greatly.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Helen, Cor’s girlfriend, as well as his sisters Margaret, Mary, and Carmel, as well as his brothers Liam and Aidan, and the rest of Cor’s family. During this trying time, we humbly ask you to please accept our deepest and most heartfelt condolences. My most honest hopes and prayers are that Cor will soon be able to slow down and get some much-needed relaxation.
